Children's Museum of Pittsburgh , "The re-opening continues!"

Now four times the original size, the 21-year-old structure meets up with the 21st Century offering new "Real Stuff" exhibits, like a garage where kids can check out the inner workings of a Mini Cooper. Interactive art stations named "Bubbling Mud" and the "Fantastic Inflatable Menagerie" sound like a total recipe for trouble. And my personal favorite -- Mister Rogers' Neighborhood.

The New York musical comedy hit Forever Plaid is the deliciously funny and charming story of "The Plaids," a classic 1950s all-male singing group, who were killed in a car crash on their way to their first big gig! Symphony in Peril w/ As My Shadow Fades, Linus, Once Nothing...

...Demise of Eros. Symphony In Peril is now finished recording their sophomore album "The Whore's Trophy" and it will be released to the masses on Feb. 15, 2005. The new album is a metallic onslaught of apocalyptic proportions and has seen the band improve in every way possible. The music is heavier, more focused and perfectly structured. Themed and titled after a passage in Revelation 17, the lyrics and imagery of this record are as bold as they get!

As Long Island, NY becomes a hotbed for the indie-rock,emo and pop-punk scenes, people find it intimidatingly easy to squeeze bands into one of these more classifiable genres. While the band, As Tall As Lions, is in fact from Long Island, they have developed a different musical approach combining the lush tones of ambient pop,the creativity of 70's album rock, the subtle passion of the late 1980's C-86 movement, and today's "not so emo" writing
